My journey of massage was sparked years back, when my 6-year-old self set up a “spa” every family summer vacation. Little did I know, this "spa business" I was running would come full circle 20 years later...
After cultivating a deeper understanding and passion for health and wellness within myself, I was determined to learn and be able to provide bodywork to my family and community. As an avid dancer, I realized the importance of manual therapies to support the longevity of not only an active lifestyle, but a happy + healthy mind! In January of 2022, I graduated from the Denver Integrative Massage School. I have learned and practiced a variety of Eastern and Western bodywork modalities including:
I am excited to announce that I will be participating in a Sports Massage intensive training this November 2024. I look forward to acquiring new knowledge and skills to further assist my clients in their journeys!
Additionally, in 2018, I decided to embark on the journey of becoming a Yoga Teacher. I am trained in Hatha Yoga and completed my 200 Hour YTT through the Eldorado Mountain Yoga Ashram in Boulder, Colorado. Throughout my training here I cultivated a deep spiritual and physical practice within myself that I have continued to integrate into my daily life. I utilize my yoga training to support my massage clients in finding ways to continue to support their bodies both on and off the massage table!
In understanding every individual has a unique makeup and constitution, sessions are designed with the intention and goal of meeting the unique needs of each client. You will always be asked what you’d like to address, so that together we can create a session that feels effective and relevant. I believe massage therapy to be an incredibly powerful tool in healing body, mind, and spirit and I’m grateful to be able to learn this work and to offer it to my community.
Along with my passion for bodywork and yoga, I spend many hours tending to my gardens, learning about herbs, and cooking. I also enjoy dancing, making music, creating art and getting lost in great books while snuggling up next to my dog!
Thai yoga massage is sometimes referred to as “Lazy Man’s Yoga.” It fuses many techniques such as acupressure, passive stretching, energy work, and deep tissue work. It is very therapeutic for opening and transforming the body, mind, and spirit into a place of relaxation. Traditionally practiced on the floor, I also offer Thai yoga massage on the table, where it can be easily integrated with western massage modalities.
In a table session Swedish, deep tissue and Thai techniques can all be easily combined to create a unique session for your needs.
